A few of our favourite things...
Aberfeldy and Highland Perthshire have a wealth of great places to visit. Listed below are a few of our own favourites – tell us about your favourites on Facebook and Twitter when you visit and we can add them too!
Just opened!
Birks Cinema
Community cinema in Aberfeldy, recently restored and reopened.
Our furniture
People always ask us where we get our lovely beds and other furnishings. The vast majority of solid oak furniture comes from Spirit of Wood, at the Mains for Murthly Farm, here in Aberfeldy. They also stock a range of soft furnishings, homeware and gifts.

Our preserves
All our preserves, chutneys, condiments, sauces and jams are made here on the farm using locally sourced ingredients wherever possible. The majority of our fruit comes from the Mains of Murthly Farm in Aberfeldy, where the flavour and quality of the fruit are outstanding. If you're visiting the Spirit of Wood shop at the Mains of Murthly Farm during fruit-picking season, you can pick up punnets of their delicious berries direct.
Our favourite coffee
One of our favourite coffees is from Glen Lyon Coffee Roasters, who use ethically sourced beans from around the world.

Our favourite chocolates
Charlotte Flower makes the most beautiful chocolates with inspired fillings and flavours sourced ethically and using seasonal local produce at every opportunity. Meadowsweet and Scots Pine harvested from the hills surrounding Acharn, Loch Tay, infused into the most luscious quality chocolate leaves a stunning moment in your mouth, when you are transported immediately to the fields and woodlands of Perthshire. Take a box of these home with you - every time you eat one you will be transported back to your holiday in Scotland.
